She's Prepared

Basia always amazes me with her ingenuity. Last night I was making supper, but I didn't have a way for her to help other than gather ingredients. I had some cans to open, so she decided to open them for me. I never explained anything to her or showed her what to do. She just did it.

Here is her homemade bow an arrow. The bow is a toy fishing pole. She pulls the string out to make it more bow-like. She built the arrow out of some of her toy wood, screws, and bolts. She came out with it first thing this morning. I asked her why she needed a bow and arrow so early in the morning. Her response? "Mo-om, I have a road trip."
