Disclaimer: I always insist on helmets for any bike/scooter/skateboard riding. HOWEVER, Basia really wanted to show me how she had been practicing her no training wheel riding on our basketball court, AND her helmet was in the same room as a sleeping toddler. I have a strict policy on letting sleeping babes lie! That meant that she got to ride for a few seconds without her helmet. She's trying to figure out how to get going on her own. I think she'll be ready to go around the block in no time.
