Christmas Gifts

We had a great Christmas, and I'm just now getting around to uploading pictures to share with you.

STOCKINGS:

OPENING GIFTS AT HOME:

Basia got a Playmobil ambulance from Grandma.
Brishen got lots of things to build, which is exactly what he was hoping would happen.

Basia asked for a Barbie, so I let Santa bring her her very first Barbie. The little doll was from her Grandma. It's a tiny twin for her very favorite doll that has been carried around for years and now is called, "My sister" by Basia. So now her sister has a sister.

OPENING GIFTS AT GRANDMOTHER'S:
After opening gifts at home, we went over to my mom's house to open more gifts from that side of the family and to have Christmas dinner and enjoy the day together.

The adults in my family draw names and were supposed to get that one person something edible this year. Joe feels bad that Jon lives in a onion-free home, thanks to me, so he more than made up for it with many, many, many onion gifts. I have been smelling an awful lot of onion breath around here these days!

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
