Brishen:
31. Lord of the Fries by Tom Wynne-Jones
32. Leepike Ridge by N.D. Wilson
Melani:
34. Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame
Yes, this is technically a children's book. I have assigned it to Brishen, and I'm trying to preread the books I assign to him so that we can discuss them for school. When his books are long and numerous, it does not leave much time for my own reading. Anyway, I never read this book as a child and really enjoyed it. Toad is quite a character, and I'm recognizing some of his traits in a the main character of Madame Bovary and even in myself, which is scary. I guess cute, little animal characters can translate into adult life.
