This is Jon and the kids in Hoopers Memorial. It looks just the same as it did when Jon was the pastor seven years ago.

We were very pleased to get taken out by friends on a real crab/fishing boat. Brishen and Jacob rode on top.

Basia practiced her driving the boat inside.

This is Jon's other little church, Hosier, as seen from in the boat. It's still amazing to me to see water so close to the church on both sides.

Joe gave Brishen instructions and a turn to steer the boat.

Then Basia got her turn.

Basia and Jade spent much of the trip getting wet on purpose.

Basia was laughing because the wind kept blowing her shirt up. I just love this picture because it really captures Basia and her joy. You can almost hear her laugh!

Reunited at last! Brishen and Jacob are only a couple months apart in age. They were the very best of buddies for the first three-plus years of their lives while we lived in Fishing Creek. They, of course, don't remember those days, but their moms were happy to have them together again. I made them pose for a picture, even though they are much to old and mature for such things!

Now Brishen and Jacob both have little sisters who are also only a few months apart in age. They had a great time together. The spontaneous hug they gave each other when we I picked Basia up from Sunday School was so sweet to see.

This is a great family picture if you remember that we had just gotten back from a boat ride where our hair blew and blew and blew. I had a barette in my hair that is now being worn by some crab in the bottom of the bay. Jon's hair is especially wind-blown!

The kids got a lesson about how a crab pot works.
