Oldies but Goodies

Yes, I realize that Mother's Day was over a month ago. I never got a chance to upload the pictures anytime near Mother's Day, so I thought I would just post them on Father's Day with some Father's Day pictures. Now Father's Day has come and gone, and I am just now getting a chance to post some pictures. We celebrated Mother's Day by surprising my mom with an early morning breakfast in bed. I think her favorite part was having some of her grandkids join her in bed while the rest of us got the breakfast together in the kitchen.

We celebrated Father's Day by having everyone over for a favorite old movie of my dad's (Little Big Man) and some yummy food. We had heard Dad talk about the movie for years, but none of us ever got to see it until then. It was nice to share it with him!

Camden is now at the age where he thinks Basia is a lot of fun to watch. She is wild and loud, and that is just what Camden is looking for as entertainment.

I thought it was sweet how Basia held both Grandmother's and Aunt Saralyn's hands during the movie. We did have to send one or both kids on errands during several key moments of the movie to get them out of the room. They refilled several drinks and threw away a lot of garbage for us.

This is a bonus picture (having nothing to do with Father's Day or Mother's Day) of Basia in a dress that was hand made for her by Donna Nelson. She got all Basia's measurements when we visited her in Maryland and brought it and another one with her when she visited Las Cruces.

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
