Halloween 2009

Here's the whole gang out for some trick or treating. We let Tyler get away with carrying one pom pom for his entire costume, and I'm pleased that it shows up in the picture. We adults pieced together our costumes fairly last minute from our assortment of dress up clothes, old VBS costumes, and old theater costume pieces.

What are you for Halloween? Seriously injured!

You may think you recognize this costume from last year. You are mistaken. Last year she was an astronaut. She did not have the cool backpack last year, though, which is the entire reason why she insisted on wearing this costume this year. She is not an astronaut, though, this year. She is a "space chimp trainer."

It's great the kids have two grandmother/mas who dress up for the holiday! It was also a lot of fun to have cousins in town to enjoy the day.

Even our Tae Kwon Do target dressed up. We saw him at our friend/instructor's house. Trick or treating at her house was extra cool because she offered fresh cranritas to the adults, made with fresh cranberries.

Puss in Boots

The annual Halloween Tea Party was even better this year because there were so many there to enjoy it with us. My mom was a magician and wowed us all with her magic tricks and even more with her goodies!! I am seriously already counting down the days until her next tea party! Yum!!

Your mother is AMAZING!!! I think we'd be partying weekly just to see what she comes up with!
