Brishen started practice for his 10th ACT (A Children's Theatre) production last week. They are doing "The Birds" by Aristophenes. He found out on Tuesday that he got his largest role ever, so he is very excited. He has a lot to memorize, and that's right up his alley. The performances will be held on March 12 and 13th.
To be truthful, I was hoping to talk him out of doing ACT again this semester. He took last semester off because they were doing a musical--singing and dancing are sooo not Brishen, and I didn't miss driving him across town a couple times a week. We already have commitments on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, so I really hated to add Tuesday and Thursday evenings to the pile. Jon said that we should let him do it if that's what he wanted. It took me a while to realize that Jon doesn't get much chance to be a part of theater productions these days, and he enjoys ACT almost as much as Brishen does.
Here's to a great 10th ACT performance for Brishen!!
