Holy Land Trip, Day 6, continued

The Temple Mount

Jon touching the ground where Jesus walked.

This is the road that would have been right next to the temple all those thousands of years ago.

Each little hole would have housed a little shop. The money changers that angered Jesus may have been in one of these shops.

The border around those blocks of the wall show they are from Herod's time, meaning they were there when Jesus was there.

The Teaching Steps

When Mary had to return to Jerusalem in search of her young, missing Jesus, she found him with on these steps, asking questions and teaching. It is a very special spot for pastors, who are now the ones teaching. Neil Armstrong said that he was more inspired on these steps than he was on the moon. That's big!

This is the group of pastors with us on our trip.

These are the (strange) pastors on the trip that are part of Jon's incubator group. They've spent too much time together, I think!
