Lofty Goal

I always like to have big, hard-to-attain goals.  My brand new, very important, goal is to get my hair long enough to put in a pony tail.  Yep, I'm reaching for the sky on this one.  Each time I have boot camp or Tae Kwon Do and have to figure out how to keep my hair out of my face, it is a major annoyance.  If I only pull back the top, the rest looks quite scarecrow-ish after sweat is added.

Of course, I haven't been happy with my hair long since I was a teenager, so I'm not sure why it would be different this time.  But when that glorious day comes that I can pull it all back into one, normal pony tail, I will be victorious.  So if you see me out and about in said pony tail, even though I'm a bit old for that sort of thing, just be impressed that I can set a goal and reach for it.

You're never too old for a ponytail! And I'm convinced of that enough that you'll often find me with TWO ponytails. Try it. It's liberating. :) (And it works with short hair!)

Oh, trust me, I've tried for two. The problem is that I got a bargain haircut a few weeks ago. I have no idea what she did to me, but it's not good, and there is NO WAY to put it back. I think I could get it into 5 or six pony tails, but no fewer than that.

I have decided that you should never get a bargain haircut unless you are a man. I got one too and I am so disappointed. You think it will grow out, but it only grows out in a worse way. Good luck Melani. Mom
