2010 Highlights in Pictures

1.  Jon and I visit Israel (Jon kisses a camel)

2.  Jon and I finish Bataan Memorial Death March Marathon with friends

3.  Camden makes an announcement

4.  Easter at Morning Star shortly after we announce our upcoming move equals bittersweet

5.  Brishen buys Rock Band with his own savings

6.  We have the VERY LAST garage sale of our life, and it's rained out

7.  Tae Kwon Do in Las Cruces, and later in El Paso, is big-time Moore fun

8.  Basia completes her entire long poem at the homeschool talent show while crying, but she does it

9.  I treasure my days with Camden and with the two little girls I have watched most of their lives before moving away from them all

10.  Bell choir is a fun family/friend endeavor

11.  We move to El Paso Okie-style, with truck after truck filled with our lives' belongings

12.  Grandmother gets to celebrate a birthday with all her grandchildren

13.  Brishen gets to eat a Round Rock Donut--or at least some of one

14.  I come this close to leaving the good ol' USA when trying to go to the zoo

15.  We are overrun with hamsters

16.  Basia turns seven with the cake she requested

17.  Brishen turns 12 with "Man v. Food" eating competitions

18.  A lot of teeth fall out

19.  "Pastor Jon's Pizza" is a big hit at the St. Mark's trunk or treat event

20.  We begin the paper process to adopt our third child internationally

21.  Thanksgiving with the Moore cousins

22.  Brishen wins the Geography Bee

23.  Cousin Kaia makes her debut

24.  The Las Cruces Half Marathon is truly a family and friend affair

2010 was a big year, a really, really big year.  It was full of new adventures, goodbyes to our much-loved life in Las Cruces, and building a new life in El Paso.  We had no idea what was in store for us when the clock struck midnight and the new year began.  Who knows what is in store for us this year.  Happy New Years to all!

Brishen's Birthday, Too

  We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
