An Interesting Fact
I learned today that only 11 children in the last five years have been granted U.S. visas from that "little African country." This is a seriously new adoption program, and we get to be pioneers in it. That means there are likely to be interesting bumps along the way. Remind us to always view them as "interesting bumps" and not "those mean such-and-suches of this or that government trying to keep us away from our child by making up extra hoops to have us jump through at a moment's notice for their own personal amusement and no other reason."
