There are lots of great moments when you are the teacher of your children. Today's will be hard to beat:
Brishen is studying for the spelling bee on Friday, so I was asking him spelling words. Basia came and grabbed one of the sheets of spelling words and started asking him a word for each word I asked him. That was a pretty big deal for this 1st grader with dyslexia to feel confident enough in her own reading to join right in. Something is going right, here, and I got to be a witness to it.
