A Tradition Continues
One of the wonderful things about moving so close to where we had lived for so long is that some of our great traditions can continue. On Sunday we ventured to the Noche de Luminarias for the 8th year in a row. The weather was beautiful. We enjoyed the company of some great friends. We wore our silly hats, but most were shed in time since the weather was so nice. I handed Camden off to a perfect stranger in a bright red suit, and he was not pleased. We got to ride a horse-drawn trolley, and Camden was quite pleased. Basia and her friends raced on ahead of the rest of us most of the time. Brishen got lost in conversation about good books and school with a young lady friend, and I have to block the picture of him walking side by side with her from my memory because I am not ready to see that yet. This event in early December really helps to kick off the season for me, and I am thankful.
