...to pass a test in my life! After days of work on the part of Jon and our handy-dandy, amazingly helpful mechanics, our van passed Texas inspection!! Whew! We just happened to pick the right place to inspect the van because they truly went out of their way to help us pass without having to put tons of work into the van.
As happy as could be, I headed straight to the place to register our van. I was actually going to be pleased to have Texas plates because it would mean we were one step closer to fulfilling all the paperwork requirements for our adoption. That's when I found out that I needed the van title. That's when I thought back to that month, over a year ago now, when we paid off that van early. I thought back to the months after that. I realized that we were never sent any sort of title or release of lien. That means no registration for us, yet.
Well, at least we are a partial step closer because we did pass that test. It definitely would take an adoption to make me so antsy about getting Texas plates and driver's licenses!
