Celebratin'

On Saturday, we got to celebrate Jon's thirty-blah-blah birthday as well as wish Charles well on his deployment.  Chocolate cake for Charles, and fudge brownies for Jon.  Those of us in attendance got to help them both eat them, topped with ice cream, of course.

 We had a rousing game of baseball, though we didn't always have bases.  We regret that we often scared the chickens with balls hit into their pen.  Basia had to run out into the street (at our encouragement) to fetch home run balls for us, more than once.  One team had a bit of a rough time getting even one out on the other team.  Kenn likes to cheat.  That's my basic recap.
