It's really tough to read a book to Basia about Rome these days. I try to read a page, and she interrupts me 20 times to tell me what I am about to read. Her little head is full of Roman facts. I was considering backing off of history next year in order to do a year-long study on world cultures. I think we better stick with history.

I love that Brishen still has his love of learning intact. He is now looking up words and doing extra math facts because his interest was sparked by his Geometry. His text mentioned some Japanese terms for weight measurement. He HAD to know what the terms meant, how they compared to our pound, and how much he weighs in piculs.
