Toddler Style

This *may* be the reason that I don't get the markers out as often as I should.

I have come to realize that life is just plain different when you have several really young ones.  It's not that the kids are any more naughty than my other children.

Toddler are toddlers.

I have no doubt that Brishen wrote all over himself at that age plenty a time.  I also bet that I thought it was pretty cute and creative.

I just know that things seem less cute and creative when they are multiplied by three toddlers and you have a social worker about to come or are on your way out the door for a family visit for one of the kids and you are still trying to finish that one chapter of that one book for your daughter's schooling and a chubby little baby is ready for someone to pop a bottle in his mouth and, and, and...

I have to literally force myself to remember that it still still is cute, no matter how busy life is.  Toddlers are scientists.  It's their job to test things out to see what will happen.  It's how they learn.

It's so cute when it's just the momma bear staring at her one and only.  "Aww!  Did the little Brishen get marker on his little leggies???  What a silly boy!"  (I hope I never talked like that, but the sentiment was certainly there.)

It should still seem cute when the momma bear has three testing the same things at the same time.

This momma bear just has to remind herself of that once in a while.

I still may take a couple weeks' break before I get markers out again, though!  I can only handle so much cuteness, you know.

Jenacy got the markers out for Wesley the other day and his legs looked exactly like that. :P

Looks like Kaia. Kaia's favorite places to color are: her fingers, her tummy, the bottom of her feet, and Camden's bed.
