It is so, so awesome to live in the desert and still have a yard completely shaded by huge, gorgeous trees. Something tells me, however, that it just may be a lot of work come autumn each year...
The kids have been working like crazy raking and bagging leaves to earn some commission. I don't have the heart to tell them that the trees are still completely full of leaves, and they may just look outside in a day or two and not be able to tell that they've done anything. As soon as they get fully sick of raking and bagging, maybe we'll take them to the home improvement store and buy a leaf blower. That may just get them excited to get back out there for a few more hours.
