Aww, this little guy! He keeps me busy and thinking and praying and smiling and stressing, sometimes within the same minute. He truly is as cute as they come, and he makes me smile so much. He just also happens to have a need to challenge every single rule at every single opportunity as well as a streak that must meet any opposition head-on with a fight. Sharing is not his forte. He also now bites without provocation. Fun stuff!
But, oh, my goodness, he is such a happy guy. No matter what happens or how many times he gets put in time-out, he switches back to a happy mood right away He is so loving to the little ones, and Wee One can chat with him for the longest time. He loves to be out in public or to have a house full of people here. He will strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere.
He falls more than anyone I've seen, and he always has the bruises to prove it. He has decent gross motor skills and can do somersaults and jump like a pro, so I'm not sure what causes all the falling. He runs crying to me many times during the day for a kiss from an injury. It seems he gets hurt when he's just standing still and then has a bruise to prove it.
He has come so far since he joined us 7 months ago. He can say anything, do puzzles, sing lots of songs, and relate as a member of a family. It's hard to even compare him to the little 18-month-old he was upon arrival who could only say a few words.
His primary goal is still adoption, but we are many months away from anything definitive and things can always change. We will enjoy him while he is with us and be very excited if he stays for always!
