Zade was baptized surrounded by friends and family:
Adoption finalization was the highlight for sure:
The kids enjoyed time with their cousins:
Poor time was a must:
We had a Father's Day cribbage tournament with a young lad beating out the fathers:
We celebrated a 2nd birthday with lots of color. I lost the picture of her actual caterpillar cake, but that's probably for the best (not my best work!):
A lady from church made each of my children (all 6!) a quilt with their names embroidered on the back:
We got to irrigate the yard with the mighty Rio Grande:
Brishen went to youth camp at Sacramento Methodist Assembly:
Basia, Zade, and Miss Independent went to Sports Camp at church while Brishen went to Engineering Camp. Brishen won the top award at Engineering Camp. Basia had her coaches impressed with her soccer skills. Having all but two of my kids gone each morning briefly had me rethinking this homeschooling thing. By Friday I was sick of all the pick ups and drop offs, so I'm once again a homeschool fan:
As usual I have many more gorgeous pictures that happen to contain kids that I may not show on here. I also have more stories and words of wisdom (don't laugh) that I forgot before I ever got around to blogging. I hope to get better again in the days to come so all my blogs aren't about catching you up on weeks worth of pictures!
