Bikes

We gave bikes galore for Christmas, and, by golly, our kids have become good bike riders.  Brishen and Basia have always enjoyed riding bikes, and now the four middle ones have the hang of it, too.  They all started on balance bikes like this:

They all got really good at riding their balance bikes, so I had a feeling they were ready for the next step.  We now have two 3-year-olds and two 4-year-olds who can ride regular bikes with no training wheels.  I'm still impressed every time I see them pedaling around the yard.  Pokey Puppy is a new 3-year-old, and he's the youngest to figure it out.  He is so proud, and so am I!

I found a tiny balance bike for Edison's 2nd birthday.  I'm hoping he follows in the footsteps of the others.
