Can you tell who won this multi-day game of world domination?
While I'm talking about girl power, can I give a shout out to my sister, Robin? She gladly welcomed our whole crew of ten at her gorgeous home and gave us license to relax and hang out in a very Vacation sort of way. I sat around and read. I browsed the rooms of IKEA. The kids jumped and jumped and jumped on their trampoline. Jon got to play a whole game of Risk without having to put the board away after the first night. We were fed the most delicious meals and snacks (truth be told, it was a little painful having to make our own breakfast this morning). We had Kylie and Alyssa making sure to catch baby Roo each time he decided to eat a handful of dog food. We take over a place, and that is no exaggeration. It has been way too long since we visited her, and I'm pretty sure I had a grand total of two kids way back then. That she welcomed us all again now that our family dynamics got extreme was so awesome. Thanks so much, Robin and Joe and Kylie and Alyssa, for sharing your home and life with us in a big way! It won't be years before we return again--unless you prefer it that way! :)
