It's true. The baby days are behind us. Roo is 1! He did pretty well opening his gifts. There was lots of back-up help when he needed it.
Grandma gave Roo this bear. It took him a while to warm up to it, and we got lots of laughs by scaring him with it before he decided it wasn't a grizzly and could be hugged.

My kids are so lucky that Grandmother makes them amazing cakes! This was my mom's first try with gum paste, and the results were ADORABLE!
He dug down into the cake to get the good stuff. He wasn't a fan of the fondant.
After the cake, it was time for paper airplanes. Jon and Brishen made some fancy ones.
