On Soren's birthday there happened to be a scheduled homeschool field trip to Fifer's Arena. We took the opportunity to take the preschoolers out of school and go as a family (minus Brishen). This place is amazing!! The owner is an old rodeo cowboy. The arena was built by his dad so the owner (then a kid) could practice seven days a week. He was told that he could only be in rodeos if he won the money to compete in the next rodeo. He made it to the pro level. My favorite part of the cowboy owner's talk was when he said that this place is for families and that we were welcome back any time day or night. He said that we could come by at 2am if we were unable to sleep. They leave everything unlocked and only have fences to keep animals in. As long as we shut the gates behind us, we can go on in. That is some cowboy hospitality! I know we will be back.
