After a couple years of not wanting to play basketball, Brishen really wanted to play again this year. He's on the El Paso Panthers homeschool team. They play the private Christian schools in town. The team went to the state tournament last year, so they are pretty good and, so far, undefeated.
I don't want anyone to think that it's all roses and puppy dog tails around here, and this picture will remind me of that. Taking all the kids to the basketball games by myself is HARD! I let them play around before the game and at half time but expect them to sit during the game. Edison starts crying as soon as we enter a gym. Even bags of popcorn and a water fountain a few feet away didn't make things easier. Ugg!
They Panthers got the chance to play at UTEP's big stadium against some of the college basketball classes. It was fun to see them on that floor. Zade and Edison LOVED watching that game since they got to play around the seating area the whole time. They also made a friend and were sad when it was time to rush to the next event that morning.
