The Stats

Basia and I weighed and measured each child yesterday and calculated their percentage weight and heights.  We like stats.  I suppose we are nerds.

Asa--15 months:  20.5 pounds (5th percentile), 29 inches (below the 5th percentile)

Edison--3 years:  26.7 pounds (4th percentile), 2'11" (below the 3rd percentile)

Tobias--4 years:  34 pounds (26th percentile), 3'3" (14th percentile)

Zade--4.5 years:  32.3 pounds (7th percentile), 3'3" (6th percentile)

Cassia--5 years:  34 pounds (11th percentile), 3'8" (78th percentile)

Soren--5 years:  39.3 pounds (30th percentile), 3'6" (19th percentile)

Basia--11.5 years:  is it polite to say a lady's weight at 11? (12th percentile), 4'7" (13th percentile)

Brishen--16.5 years:  I don't know if he wants me to tell  (81st percentile), 6'3" (above 97th percentile)

*Cassia and Tobias are the exact same weight to the ounce!

*Tobias and Zade are the exact same height.

*Both Edison and Asa are too short to be calculated on the online calculator.

*It's funny that I grew up in a tall family that has always taken pride in our height.  We tease my younger (short) sister for her lack of height.  I tease my (short) husband.  Now both my sister and my husband will forever be tall compared to most of my children!

*When Brishen was 3, his doctor predicted he would be 6'3".  I believe she was right!

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
