Zade reads!

I actually felt bad.  I tucked the Kindle into my purse on my way out the door and felt bad that I was bringing an electronic babysitter to the doctor's office for the very first time.  I comforted myself knowing that he would be playing Letter School, which he thinks is a game but is actually teaching him to write all his letters.  He was excited when I pulled it out for him.  I asked if he wanted to do capital letters or lower case,  When he said he wanted to do lower case letters, I quizzed him on the names and sounds of the capital letters first.  He knew them all.  He worked on writing some lower case letters and them did some puzzles in another game.  He then wandered to the book section and said he wanted to read.

And

He

Read!

When we reached the "The End" page I was actually shocked.  I had no idea he was ready to finish his first little Bob Book.  This little man is a fighter, and his brain and body are always working over time.  He is going to do amazing things in his life whether I know he's ready or not!

Zade, you read your very first book at the age of 4 years, 6 months, and 1 day old!  (In the doctor's office waiting room and on a Kindle!)  You truly are going to be able to accomplish anything in this world!
