He requested marshmallow cereal.
He got lots of little gifts, mostly trains and cars and fire engines.
I gave up trying to make his train cake (by never even starting), so he and Jon went out for breakfast donuts and then to pick some pizza and cake at the grocery store. He insisted on this tres leches cake, but was only interested in eating the strawberry topping.
I offered to take him on a train ride but his one and only birthday wish was to have his first sleepover at Grandmother's house. His wish was granted!
