Sunday Family Time

That's right. It's Tuesday and I'm posting about Sunday. I have been tired (lazy??) for the last few days and have not been keeping up with my blogging duties. I am only posting now so you don't think I have fallen off the face of the earth. I am still tired today, so it's good that I'm only a few days behind! We played a different version of this game, Ticket to Ride, at friends' house last year and knew that it was something we wanted to own. Jon and I got it for Christmas, and it is definitely on the top of our list right now for favorite games--and our list is always very long.

Basia has been really into crafting this week. My house has messes because of it, but I am a firm believer in allowing messes for the sake of creativity. On Sunday she was making things out of popsicle sticks, tape, and small paper plates. Yesterday she was cutting up straws into tiny pieces.

Ever since Bible School (notice their matching shirts?), the kids have been enjoying the DVD of the songs at home. I was trying to catch Basia doing one of the dances, but she caught me instead.

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
