We brought our bikes and scooters to Sacramento. The kids all spent hours on them. The adults even could be seen riding around on the scooters. The camp now rents mountain bikes and mountain scooters. We had never heard of mountain scooters before, so we decided to try out a couple. They were awesome!! We all want one of our own. Jeanne is on one in the picture below, and you can see one in the second to last picture--the one with Jon. 
Even Grandma got to ride Basia's scooter. She told tales of riding her own scooter years ago.
