The Hardest Part

Visits and appointments are hard--getting everyone to where they are supposed to be at the assigned time, over and over during the week.

Saying goodbye is hard--loving a kid with all your heart and then handing them to a situation that may not be the best.

Having a never-ending stream of people in our home is hard--their job is to check up on our parenting, our family, our home.

Dealing with behaviors of abused and neglected children is hard--you cannot take back what they have experienced or when and where it rears its ugly head.

BUT

The Hardest Part of foster parenting?

Without a doubt, it's the Uncertainty.

It's a roller coaster, and I get sick on roller coasters.  Today is definitely a "get sick" kind of day.
