'I am seeking a home for (Tobias) (2) and (Soren) (3). The children are currently placed with the paternal grandmother but the children may have to be removed. The children are basic needs and the only thing is that they are pending an evaluation from ECI. Please review their information and let me know if you have a home that may be able to care for these two young children. Thank you.'"
I found the above email in my files. That is the entirety of the email from my agency director asking what we thought about taking these two little boys. Saying yes to this little email (and the call that happened shortly after because I didn't notice my email in a timely enough manner) brought us our forever sons. It's just craziness to realize how a quick line like, "what do you think" is all it takes sometimes!
What do I think?
