Oh, my goodness. It is so funny trying to get pictures of my kids that don't include Asa's face. I got the coolest picture of the kids on the rock, only Asa was facing the camera and smiling adorably and Edison had his back to the camera. Switch it around, boys! When Brishen tries to hold Asa with his back to the camera, he always twists around to face me. This is one of those sad realities that I will have to face for another year or two. Asa is my son, but...he's not.
We were so excited to see an anteater at the zoo. He was so busy and fun to watch! He was our favorite animal of the day. He's small, so he's probably not an anteater but something similar, but he's an anteater to us.
These are our Soren and Tobias monkeys!
Zade, my dad, and I went to watch some bull riding. I can't tell you how nice it was to go out with my dad. Zade may not be ready to sit that long for a few more years, yet, though. (note to self) I found the loud music, fire, and extravaganza amusingly distant to what rodeos and the cowboy way of life once were, but the bull riding was fun to watch.
My goal is to do more things with smaller groups of my kids. A kid or two or three here and there. I took Edison for a cupcake recently after his pulminology appointment, and he was a different kid. He was holding doors open for people, trying to open the van doors by himself. He aged a couple years when he wasn't babied by all his older siblings. I have to do that more often with each of them!
